National Association of Christian Lawmakers Annual Policy Conference

I had the great fortune of being able to attend this year's NACL Policy Conference which was held at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. What a great time of learning and interacting with other lawmakers from across the country. I had no idea going that I'd be able to participate in committee meetings where model legislation is crafted that can be used by lawmakers across the country.

What a blessing this conference was. The people were great, we had great speakers throughout, and we had times of worship in the evenings as well. I was able to finish up with a tour with some of the group to Appomattox Court House where the beginning of the end of the Civil War took place. We were able to hear the story of what led up to the surrender that occurred there, tour the buildings, but the best part was being able to pray for our country while there.

I can't wait until the next meeting.
