Black History Month
Crispus Attucks is believed to have been born around 1723 from records I see and was born into slavery. At the age of about 27 Crispus escaped slavery and became a man of the sea which was one of the few trades of that day open to non-whites. He worked on whaling ships and when not sailing was a rope maker. 2026 General Assembly
The 2026 Session of the General Assembly is well underway. I’ve been able to go to the Capitol twice so far and I’ll be back more but in between I’m watching bills and submitting written testimony on some as I can.
